Värmland trip and Croatian wines

We only just managed to get home from Budapest before it was time to pack up the motorhome and head for Värmland. We haven't even had time to tell you about that yet! Then the week has continued with work, training (well, one day!) and ... wine tasting with Croatian wines.

Travelling in Värmland with a motorhome

We landed in Stockholm on Friday afternoon and early the next morning we packed the motorhome and drove to Värmland. As you may know, we are working on renovating and fixing the our motorhomeand since it has been "suffering" outdoors for a few winters, we wanted it to be indoors this winter. It was in Värmland. We will soon tell you more about this, and about our last little "effort" in the motorhome this season.

Daily life and training

It was at least an everyday life after coming home from Budapest (and Värmland) with water, healthy food and training sessions. Then it was time for wine tasting with Croatian wines ...! (Wow, how hard it is to get into good habits sometimes. But we walking at least pretty far every day ... some credit for that, right?)

Wine tasting with Croatian wines

We were invited to a wine tasting in Stockholm and got to try several wines from Testament Winery (t.) in Croatia. Really good! Among other things, we became fond of the white wine Merga Victa Pošip, which is available in Systembolaget's order range for SEK 129.

Peter also liked the red wine The Dalmatian Dog, which will be available in Systembolaget's order range from early 2020. (I, Helena, do not drink red wine).

Best this week?

The best part of this week has been coming home from Budapest with wonderful memories - and that at last get the motorhome under cover. What has been the best part of your week?

The week ahead

We have a lot to write about right now, and here is some of what you can expect, hopefully in the coming week:

  • More about Budapest - including all fantastic restaurants we visited
  • Report on Derry/Londonderry - no, Peter hasn't written that report yet ...
  • Winter storage of the motorhome and about the last thing we managed to fix this season
  • A celebrity mingle - don't tell me more right now ... come back!
  • Next trip - Yes, we have one in the works!

In other words, don't miss checking in here during the weekend and the week ahead! We wish you a great weekend!
