Hearts in the sky

Thursday morning started with hearts in the sky (top image). According to the newspapers, it was two pilots who wanted to spread some love in these times. How nice is that?

"Semester"

I (Helena) am employed by Region Stockholm, and I have been working from home since March due to the pandemic. As of today, I am officially on holiday for four weeks. Great!

So, why have I put "holiday" in quotation marks? Well, the company, the blog and the webshop are not exactly taking a holiday. We will be busy even during our summer trip, or maybe above all during our summer trip. But it will be fun!

Holidays mean ONE computer instead of two for me (Helena)

Preparing for summer travel

Now preparations are underway. Are we packing? Well, not quite yet. To be able to travel, you have to finish things at home. First we have a lot to do before web shops which will open shortly after returning home.

So, we didn't really know what we were getting into when we started the webshop project. So a lot to arrange about building a website, agreements for payment solutions, agreements with partners, shipping, packages, rules about sales and thousand other things.

We are also starting to plan what we want to see and do during the trip. Thank you most humbly for all the fantastic tips that came in on yesterday's blog post about summer campervan trip! There seems to be so many nice and exciting things to see and do! We will try to collect all the tips in a smart way.

Best this week

The best this week was probably the celebration of Peter's 60th birthday on Blidö! In addition, it is of course fun to be able to plan for the summer trip. What can you highlight as positive from your week?

The week ahead

We're not quite rolling yet, but any day now! As soon as we feel ready, we're off on an adventure in Sweden. You can of course follow the journey here on the blog.
