We have spent some time in the Jönköping area now. It's nice here, and we've been standing still some days in order to work. It started with snow at Bauergården about a week ago and now we have summer heat here in Gränna.

Long weekend in Gränna
A few days before the Ascension weekend, we drove into the caravan park in Gränna harbour. Then we stayed here. From here we have been able to make several nice bike excursions, and besides, it is cosy here. Not least since the summer weather suddenly came!
From low season to high season ... in a few days
When we arrived at the car park in Gränna, it was very quiet. We were not alone, but it was far from full and it felt like it was still low season.
A few days later, it suddenly felt like full high season. The sun was shining and the motorhomes were pouring in - to the site, to the car park outside and to the campsite next door.
The same sudden change took place in the harbour. The first time we walked there, everything was closed and we didn't see a single person.
Three days later, it was as if someone had waved a magic wand. Suddenly there were people on every outdoor terrace, in shorts, having coffee or ice cream.

This week we have also been guests on a podcast, via video conference. The podcast is called Succeed in life and made by Monica Balkefors. The episode is not out yet, but will be soon. Anyway, the conversation was really relaxed and fun!
Best this week
The best part of this week is that we had the chance to experience the beautiful Jönköping regionincluding beautiful Gränna. And an extra plus for the weather of course! We've managed to write three posts so far, with a few more coming soon. And what about you, what can you highlight as positive from the week?
The week ahead
We are staying for a few more days and will then head north. I (Helena) have a physical errand at work in Stockholm and then we'll be heading to the Tierp area, to build a terrace for Peter's mum. You can expect reports about Gränna and Jönköping, and about other things that happen along the way!

It's so typically Swedish! So from one day to the next, nature and all the cafés and bars explode with it. And every year it is just as gratifying and ... surprising. Much like the first snow;-)

What a wonderful week you had and fun with the podcast recording! Here is probably the best of the week that we begin to discern the end of all moving and clearing.
In addition, the entire Billinge district and Valle härad begin to turn white as the cherry trees come into bloom.
