Survey on motorhome tourism during Trandansen

This year, the issues of motorhome tourism at Trandansen on Lake Hornborga will be explored in depth. Every year, more than 100 000 people visit Trandansen during a four-week period when the cranes dance. Up to a thousand of these come by motorhome. This year, Anna Martinez, Business Developer in Sustainable Tourism at Falköping Municipality, will be staying in a camper van at Trandansen during the crane season. Surveys will be handed out, campervan guests will be invited to enjoy coffee in the campervan and other guests will be invited to discuss their thoughts on campervan tourism, sustainability and the uniqueness of Lake Hornborga.

Many choose Denmark with StenaLine at Easter

On Stena Line's Gothenburg-Fredrikshamn route, bookings have increased by 8.5 per cent for Easter compared with last year. This is a clear indication of Swedes' desire to travel despite the strained economy. In addition, the annual Travel Barometer shows that Denmark as a destination is top of mind for Swedes and that more and more people are choosing to travel by car. The Gothenburg-Fredrikshamn route is served by the three ferries Stena Danica, Stena Jutlandica and Stena Vinga, which can take Swedish passengers to Denmark in just 3.5 hours.
