Another Greek evening

Last week we were at an event with Visit Greece, and this week it was time again. Even more inspiration for Greek destinations and even more good Greek food. We also got the chance to meet some industry colleagues and friends. In fact, it was so nice that there weren't many photos ...

A day in the city - some shopping

The next day we went into the centre of Stockholm to do some shopping. Some of our favourite summer clothes got really worn out during the trip in Stockholm. Philippines, and we bought almost nothing new because it was difficult to find clothes in our sizes.

When we were still in town, we took the opportunity to visit the Senior Day in Kungsträdgårdento see if any interesting travel companies were present. And who did we meet? Well, Visit Greece of course! They wanted to tell the visitors that Greece is an excellent destination for senior travellers, with interesting history and good wines, but also good healthcare.

The cherry trees in Kungsträdgården were at the end of flowering, with lots of pink flowers also on the ground, but still beautiful.

Testing a new non-alcoholic beer

Some time ago we were contacted by Tomorrow Brewingwho asked if we wanted to try their non-alcoholic beer. We were happy to do so, and thus we got a bunch of cans, which went quickly in the week's sunny weather. A few years ago, we tested 14 different types of beer. non-alcoholic beer, and found several good varieties. This became a new favourite, we must say - a lager with a rich and very good taste.

We also like to drink beer and strong beer, but it is incredibly nice to be able to alternate with non-alcoholic beer. When we have had these at home, it has felt like you can have a beer at any time of the day, without having to worry about getting alcohol. In addition, there are fewer calories in non-alcoholic beer, which is an extra plus.

The beer from Tomorrow Brewing has become a favourite, and since we saw on their website that it is only available in certain parts of Sweden, we will be looking for it now on our motorhome trip!

A nice evening with his son and his wife

This week we also had a nice evening with Peter's eldest son Robin and his wife Alexandra. Fantastic to see them, and to hear about their latest trip, which was to Paris.

We met up at the tapas restaurant Caliente on Fleminggatan in Stockholm. Wow, so good!

Then we had a drink at a small bar on Fleminggatan, across the street from the tapas restaurant. Creative and tasty drinks!

Best this week

Best part of this week? It has been busy, but we have really enjoyed the nice weather. And of course it was great to meet Robin and Alexandra! Your turn ... what has been the best part of your week?

The week ahead

We've just set off with the motorhome. We first drive a little bit south in the country, with the aim of some cosy wooden citiesto then roll north towards the High Coast. Here at FREEDOMtravel we will of course tell you about the trip - mixed with some guest reports and other things. Hope you want to join us!
