Interesting days in Istanbul

It has been really interesting and nice days in Istanbul. We are travelling together with Danish writer Charlotte from Go Traveling and a Turkish guide. Together we have had many nice and interesting experiences, and we have also had a lot of fun together, with a lot of laughter.

Istanbul is a very big city and during our limited time in the city we have of course only been able to see a small part of it. What we have seen we have really liked! In addition to all the fantastic historical sights, we must say that there are also many charming and cosy streets and neighbourhoods. Not least in the evening!

We have also had the chance to try so much good Turkish food. Turkish cuisine is large and varied, but it is common to start with several small cold starters, and then a bunch of hot starters before it is time for the main course. Often a lot of food, and often delicious!

Best this week

It's not that hard to figure out what's best this week for us, right? Travelling to Turkey of course! It's been great to experience Istanbul and we can reveal that the next part of the trip - Cappadocia - is even more amazing.

The week ahead

We will spend a few more days in Cappadocia, Turkey, before travelling back to Sweden. It's a hectic programme, but we try to update as much as we can at @freedomtravelnews on Instagram. Here on the blog there will also be a lot about Turkey in the near future!
