We are home in Stockholm again, after a fantastic trip in Crystal Valley in the northern Czech Republic and in Prague. Now we are getting ready for the next exciting trip. Happy Friday!

A long weekend in Prague
We spent around five days on a press trip in Crystal Valley in the north of the Czech Republic, and then finished with a long weekend in Prague on our own. Fantastic to come back to Prague! The capital of the Czech Republic is truly beautiful and offers plenty of surprises in the form of beautiful gardens, impressive churches/operas/libraries, unusual museums and interesting flavours.
At home in Stockholm
Right now we are at home in Stockholm for a week. We've had time to meet some friends, but otherwise it's mostly walks and work this week. It feels like we are behind on everything, so it's just work, work, work!

New trip coming up!
We have barely landed in Sweden, it seems, and a new trip is already underway. We are travelling to Turkey on a press trip to experience Istanbul and the exotic Cappadocia (pictured). We have never been to Turkey, so this will be very exciting!
Best this week
The best part of this week is of course the trip to the Czech Republic. No matter how many times we visit this country, we still marvel at what a great country it is to travel in. This time we visited the country by plane, but the Czech Republic is also a great motorhome country.

Understand that you had a nice trip and both. I have seen a bit of the Czech Republic but I have visited Prague a few times. A city I am very fond of.
Fun with a trip to Turkey and Kapadokien is really nice. Been a long time since I was there but I remember the beauty. A fascinating landscape.Istanbul is an exciting city with much to see and experience.
Best of the week? Most things, and not least owning my time...

Two favourites, Prague and Istanbul :-) In Istanbul I love the neighbourhoods between the bazaars. Last time I was there (2015, (overnight stay on the way back from Bangkok) I was struck by "Where are the girls"? Pretty much only men working everywhere, I thought... even in the lace and sewing supply shops.
I myself am packing for Cyprus, a new country for me, where I am travelling with my daughter and her family, children's club and All Inclusive, a suitable arrangement for this trip.
Otherwise, it was best to help as VAB-standin for the grandchildren 4 and soon 2... completely exhausted after, but lovely anyway :-). .. and that the handball is running at all levels, :-).

Evy, wish you a nice trip to Cyprus!!! We experienced that with only men working in Malta, and also in Egypt. Remember in Malta that there were men in the lingerie shops. Felt a bit odd ...

Understand that you have a lot around you now, but congratulations on a really great trip next week! I have been to Istanbul twice and think it is one of the coolest cities I have been to. A nice mix between old and new, European and Asian, Christian and Muslim. To then fly a hot air balloon in Cappadocia is pure happiness! Have a great weekend!

If you're on holiday all the time, it's quite logical that you fall behind on your work. But you don't turn down press trips to the Czech Republic and Turkey. No way, especially after an 18-month break.
Istanbul is one of my absolute favourite cities. It has everything.
I have never heard of Cappadocia, but the picture promises a lot. Will you Helena go ballooning. It will be exciting to read...
