Morning jogs, autumn dinners and LPs

Now we have been jogging every weekday morning for two weeks. There is a small chance that we will be able to keep up this good habit, or what do you think? We have also cooked delicious autumn dinners and tried to sell old LP records. Happy Friday!

New routine: morning jog

Our new routine, since two weeks ago, is to jog on weekday mornings. We set the clock to 06:00, share today's post on Facebook, eat some yoghurt with sliced banana and go for a jog.

We recently bought thin windbreakers and now I (Helena) have also bought a vest to wear underneath if it's cold. So Nice! Some people we meet on the jogging tour are running in shorts (!), but we guess they have better fitness and can keep a higher pace all the way. We occasionally have to walk to catch our breath, so it's nice not to be dressed too cold. The hydration belt? Yes, it's because I get so thirsty when I run. I really can't run without water.

We jog in Karlberg Castle Park, which is located just behind Karlberg Castle. The park is very nice and there are surprisingly few people here, although some find their way here to jog or walk the dog. It's quite nice that there are so few people so we have said that maybe we should not tip, but now I happened to do it, haha.

Tasty autumn dinners

You can't just exercise, you have to eat as well. Peter has cooked some really good and autumnal fish dinners lately. Salmon with baked root vegetables, for example, fantastic! He bakes potatoes, carrots, parsnips, onions and small whole garlic. Half Brussels sprouts fried in oil and sea salt with it, yummy!

Lax

Another favourite is salmon steaks. How delicious! We usually serve these with jacket potatoes, broccoli and some aioli.

Going around town to sell LP records

You may remember our nostalgia trip with old discs, books and comics? We live in a limited space, so saving everything is impossible. Yesterday we went on a tour of the city with the electric bikes to see if the city's record and coin shops were interested in what we had to offer.

Well, you could say that. Two record shops chose to buy about 5 discs each, and a coin shop bought the coins. We got a few hundred dollars, but if we look at all the hours we spent collecting, carrying, sorting, looking for shops, carrying again and cycling around the city, it was a very sad hourly wage. Men we know we're not throwing away anything valuable and hopefully someone will be happy. Happy Friday!

Best this week

The best part of this week is that we are doing our morning jog, and that we are clearing out all the stuff that fills up our home. We have also started to fix the motorhome, we will tell you more about that soon! What has been the best part of your week?

The week ahead

In the coming week, we have several exciting meetings regarding interesting collaborations. We will also try to tell you about a fantastic place we visited in the Czech Republic that we haven't told anyone about yet. Don't miss it!

Did you miss the last Happy Friday? Read the Finally an event - and thanks for all the tips!
