What summer weather, it's absolutely crazy! We work and fix the motorhome, and on weekends we go on motorhome trips. Even though it's a weekday, you can use evenings and weekends!

Life and work - in the heat
The summer heat is more oppressive than ever and we find ourselves in the middle of a marina teeming with leisure boats. It's not easy to understand that it's business as usual, but we do our best. Peter used to walk with me to work, but now that I work from home we still go for a morning walk. Then it's off to work!
I (Helena) have some video meetings and otherwise I analyse interviews, a job I really enjoy. Peter works with videos, our online shop and with various collaborations. Everything has been quiet for a while, but now things are starting to happen!
Motorhome fix
Peter has also done some work on the motorhome. You may recall that we forgot support legs down when we were leaving a campsite a while ago? (Clumsy, we know!) The support legs broke immediately and could not be cranked down or up, and since then we have been driving with them hanging a little bit under the car. Now, finally, Peter has taken hold of the matter and unscrewed them. Great!
Do you also remember that we have had a clicking noise in the motorhome when driving? We have returned the car twice to fix the problem, but each time the sound has returned after a week or so. Now it was third time lucky. We hope (if you dare) that it will last! And last but not least, Peter has repaired the seams of the driver's seat, which were worn out after all the years on the road...
Holidays and cruises
The holidays are over, but it is still possible to make weekend trips with the motorhome. Last weekend we were in Norrtälje, really cosy there! We have had time to write about our visit on Pythagoras Industrial Museumand soon we will write more about Norrtälje. Among other things, we found a cosy place to stay with the motorhome.
This weekend is a cruise! If everything goes according to plan, we are on a cruise right now when you read this. We are invited to a press trip at VikingLine when they present fine dining a lá Kocklandslaget. VikingLine will also tell you about the safety measures they have introduced due to covid-19. We will of course tell you about this soon!
Best this week
The best thing about this week? It's probably that the lovely summer weather makes it still feel like a holiday, even though we're working. We are enjoying quiet evenings in the houseboat and have, among other things, partied on our love paste - isn't it beautiful? What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
During the coming week there will be reports from the cruise and from Norrtälje. We also plan to make another trip with the motorhome.

Clunking in vehicles is not a big deal. Some people drive without hearing things, I'm on my dad's tail and drive with one ear on guard. Not that I know anything about engines, but I can tell when something is going on. Sometimes it has been super difficult to convince mechanics but so far I have unfortunately been right when I hear something strange.
It's great that you feel that summer and holidays are not completely over and that you are still doing excursions and delights.
And imagine how handy Peter is! I think that's a real treat!
