We are very pleased to announce this competition, organised by the Polish State Tourist Office, in cooperation with us. They have put together a fantastic package for the winner, with a trip for two people to Wroclaw. Wroclaw - a fantastic city!

Wroclaw is an absolutely beautiful and delightful city, full of colourful houses and lively outdoor cafes. We were here in September a few years ago, and it's a visit we won't forget. Ten highlights of Wroclaw

There is plenty to see and do in Wroclaw. Here are ten highlights to choose from:

1. The main square

The main square in the Old Town of Wroclaw, Rynek, can be said to be the heart of the city. There are many beautiful buildings and plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafés.

2. Dwarfs of Wroclaw

When in Wroclaw, you can't miss the city's small statues, in the shape of dwarfs, which you can find just about everywhere. No one knows how many there are, but there are at least 300 and maybe over 400. Feel free to go on a hunt!

3. four denominations district

Located in the centre of Wroclaw, the Four Denominations District offers a unique atmosphere. It combines religious buildings from different Christian denominations with a synagogue, as well as restaurants and cafés.

4. Ostrów Tumski

Ostrów Tumski is a pleasant neighbourhood surrounded by the River Oder. It has plenty of impressive architecture and buildings such as the mighty Gothic St John Baptist Cathedral.

5. Folkets Hall / Hundraårshallen

Recognised as one of the greatest architectural achievements of the 20th century, the Hall of the People or Centennial Hall is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Great Hall can accommodate up to 10,000 people.

6. Park Szczytnicki

Park Szczytnicki is a large and green park with a long history. The park offers lovely walking paths, colourful plantings and nice areas with water and bridges.

7. Hydropolis Water Museum

Hydropolis is an interactive centre of water knowledge. Here you can learn about theories on the origin of water in the universe and be fascinated by the underwater world. A multimedia attraction for all ages!

8. decanter

Wrocław Afrykarium is a zoo and aquarium that focuses entirely on the African fauna. Here you can experience selected ecosystems of the African continent, including the Red Sea with its coral reefs.

9. the river Oder

The River Oder flows right through Wroclaw, giving the city a lovely atmosphere. You can take various boat trips on the river, or perhaps go kayaking. In summer, there are also many outdoor cafés along the river.

10. Polinka cable car

Why not cross the River Oder with the Polinka cable car? The journey across the water is 380 metres and lasts 2-2.5 minutes. Each carriage carries 15 passengers and almost 370 people travel here every hour.
