Things are happening on our long motorhome journey! We've left the motorhome for a few days of adventure on board a cruise ship in Croatia. We flew from Munich to Split, and now we have boarded the ship Futura ...

From Poland to Munich
Just recently we were in Poland, where we spent a few days at two fine Polish spa hotels. From here we took the motorhome to Munich, via Dresden, and rolled into Munich airport.
There are 26 RV parks at the airport, where you can park motorhomes and other vehicles of the same size. The car parks can also be booked online in advance. Convenient! So we left the motorhome there, for a few days of different adventures ...

From Munich to Split
From Munich we flew to Split, with Croatia Airlines. This is a short flight (1 h 15 min) and we basically only had time to get up in the air, where we were served water and crackers, before it was time to go down for landing ...
In Split we were greeted by sunshine and lovely warmth. Right now it is just over 20 degrees during the day and a little cooler in the evenings. In the sun it is fantastic!

On the ground in glorious Split
Croatia is a beautiful country and Split is one of our favourite cities here. The historic part of the city is contained within the walls of Diocletian's palace, which was built in the 2nd century.

This palace is one of the most well-preserved Roman palaces in the world, while it is a vibrant city filled with restaurants and shops. Split is simply an incredibly fascinating city! You can find all our top tips about Split here.

For us, it was a little stroll in the charming alleys, a guided tour and a pizza and a beer in the sun!

Cruise with Katarina Line
Then it was time for us to board the ship Futura, one of Katarina Line's various cruise ships. We are here, together with other travel agencies from different parts of the world, to try out Katarina Line's cruise concept.

Katarina Line has many different ships and many different tours and theme cruises. The tour we are on both starts and ends in Split.

On the trip we will dock at various islands, where we will also go ashore and experience what the islands have to offer.

At the same time, of course, you can enjoy life on board, with comfortable cabins, meals, jacuzzis, sunbeds and swimming from the boat.

'Follow' here and on social media!
We will of course, as usual, return with reports here on FREEDOMtravel, when we have experienced a little more! You can also follow the trip on social media, not least on Instagram at @freedomtravelnews!
