Now we have tried fishing in Northern Norway! Yesterday we had the opportunity to join a fishing trip from Arnoy Brygge on the island of Arnoy outside Bodö. Although it was a bit grey, we must say that it was fantastic to get out in the fresh sea air and spend half a day among seals, seagulls and sea eagles.

Located just north of Bodö, Kjerringoy in northern Norway is a hidden gem. Once upon a time, this small community was more important than Bodö. Today, it is an idyllic retreat where Bodö residents and others like to go in the summer to enjoy the peace and quiet, nature, good food at the hotel or perhaps a cultural event.
