Mountain biking in Zermatt, Switzerland! We are not exaggerating when we say that this is one of the most amazing nature experiences we have ever had. We took the bikes on ski lifts up the mountain and then travelled down, along a bike trail. Moderately challenging, not too strenuous and absolutely stunningly beautiful.

It was a journey that involved just over two hours by plane, just under three hours by train and then half an hour by bus. Despite a fairly long journey, it didn't feel slow at all. The roads in Greece are very nice. It is probably our "road favourite" so far. 🙂

Time to paint the deck and lining of the houseboat

In the summer of 2014, we lifted the entire houseboat on land and did a complete renovation that included new construction of the entire upper floor, new panelling everywhere and a new balcony floor on the deck. But of course a houseboat requires maintenance! We've decided that it's best to do a little each year, and this year it was time to paint the deck and lining.

Sometimes you don't have to go so far to experience the world. Last Sunday we went to Veddesta in Järfälla outside Stockholm to look at a sofa bed and a chest of drawers. At the same time, we took the opportunity to visit the grocery store Matvärlden, which is also located here. We bought some small things, but above all we walked around and looked. Wow! It was like travelling around the world!
