We have been to Kenya twice. The first time (2007) we backpacked to Nairobi and took a train to Mombasa. The second time (2012) we travelled with a friend from Kenya and experienced everything from a traditional wedding with 400 guests to a remote rural village without electricity or running water.

This weekend was All Saints Day and we met my (Helena's) mum and brother and their family to spend time together and light a candle on my dad's grave. Mum also treated us to a meal at Skänkstugan in Täby. This little restaurant in the countryside is really cosy and also offers good food, so of course we have to tell you and show you some pictures. Read moreThe trip down to the Caravan Club's member meeting in Kristinehamn was... much more dramatic than expected, but when we woke up on Saturday morning we were still determined to do the lecture about our campervan journey through Europe. Our friends Thore and Catta picked us up in their motorhome and we arrived at Husbilslandet half an hour before we were due to start the lecture.

We were looking forward to the joint dinner that would be organised at 7 pm, but there was no dinner at Husbilslandet for us. Our Friday evening ended much more dramatically, with the towing of a motorhome.
