Today we have experienced both big cities and motorways in Albania. We have travelled from Albania's south-west coast and north-east to Lake Ohrid. We have driven through four major Albanian cities and we have driven several stretches on the motorway. The journey has also taken us through much of the countryside and over some more mountains. Now we have found a modern campsite in Albania at Radhima. We've written a lot about simple sites and campsites in the country. Now we want to tell you that there are modern sites too! Right now we are at Camper Stop Cekodhima, at Radhima on the west coast in the district of Vlora. We call it a "site" because we're in a gravel car park, but it has all the services you'd expect from a modern western campsite.

Today we can tell you about Livadhi beach at Himara in Albania and about Moskato campsite, located in the district of Vlora in the region of Himara in southern Albania. This small strip of beach is home to five (!) campsites, a small number of restaurants and a few very small hotels. You can just imagine how a holiday resort is built from scratch. It starts like this, on a small scale. In a few years, this place might look completely different.
