It is real winter in Sweden right now, and today we are dreaming away to sun and holidays on Koh Samui in Thailand. We previously told you about our journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Beijing in the summer of 2006, and the continuation of that journey took us all the way to the holiday island of Koh Samui, where we spent two weeks with Peter's sons Robin and Billie.

A few exciting days in Bangkok

In the summer of 2006 we spent a few exciting days in Bangkok. Peter and I (Helena) arrived by plane from Beijing and slept one night in Bangkok before it was time to meet Peter's two sons Robin and Billie. They flew themselves from Sweden. Now our journey changed - from travelling alone on the Trans-Siberian Railway through Siberia and Mongolia, it was time for a family holiday in Thailand.

Guest of the week: Annika Myhre, traveller and "Thai mover" with 3 children.

Annika Myhre and her husband Tobias have three children aged 1-7, but that doesn't stop the family from going on exciting and exotic trips. The children have travelled to countries such as Tunisia, the USA and Taiwan, and right now the whole family has taken a 'Thai break' and is spending 3 months on Koh Lanta in Thailand, where their son also goes to school.
