Today we have moved to a beach and campsite at Porto-Vecchio on the south-eastern side of Corsica. The beach is called Plage de Palombaggia and is located just south of Porto-Vecchio. We have read that this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica.

Propriano in Corsica - cosy tourist resort on the coast

Propriano in Corsica is a charming and pleasant little village on the coast. In Propiano there is a harbour with many small boats, and although the village only has just over 3000 inhabitants, there are plenty of cosy restaurants. In the evening we found a campsite just outside: Camping Tikiti.

Corsica's beaches - 10 most beautiful beaches

Most beautiful beaches in Corsica, and we have received requests for more pictures of the blue sea and the beaches of Corsica, and this request is not difficult to fulfil! We are still at the campsite at "Plage Cupabia" on the west coast, south of Ajaccio. We have been sunbathing and swimming all day, as well as taking a walk along the paths that run just above the beaches. It's so stunningly beautiful everywhere that it's hard to believe.

Mountain roads at Calanche in Corsica! Driving around Calanche Di Piana is beyond explanation. These mountain roads in Corsica cannot be found anywhere else in Europe. So narrow that encounters are tough and 400 metres of cliffs on the side. How cool!

Roads in western Corsica are really dramatic! On the road (D81) from Calvi to Porto. I mean, what roads! We thought we were driving on dramatic roads around Verdon Gorge, but this one in Corsica broke records. The cliffs aren't as steep, but the roads are narrower and worse and cooler!
