Updated: August 2026 | Radegast in Łódź was a railway station during World War II attached to the Litzmannstadt ghetto. From here, tens of thousands of people were deported to the Chełmno and Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camps. Today, the old station is a memorial site and part of the Museum of Independence Traditions in Łódź. We visited the place during a trip through Poland – a powerful and important visit.

Updated: August 2026 | Wrocław is built around the Oder River and its many branches, canals and islands. A different way to discover the city is therefore from the water. We rented canoes in the middle of Wrocław and set off on a leisurely paddle trip – one of those spontaneous experiences that turned out to be a really nice memory of the city.
