We haven't just been celebrating Easter and socialising with friends this weekend. Peter has also installed a chimney for a wood stove. Fortunately, the weather was really nice all the time while he was climbing on the roof, which of course made it all a bit more pleasant. Here is a picture gallery from the assembly.

This week has been intense, with visits from American researchers at my (Helena's) job all week. This weekend there will be the Alpine World Cup in Åre, and it will surely be just as intense. In addition, we are rebuilding the blog's design ... Happy Friday!

I (Helena) will start a new job after the end of the year. Although this is mainly a travel blog, I thought I would tell you a little about what I do when I'm not travelling. Today I tell you about what I studied and where I worked. At 04:30 on Friday morning, the taxi was waiting for me (Helena) at the marina where we live. Then I had a long working day ahead of me. The journey from Stockholm to Elmia in Jönköping takes about four and a half hours by train and bus and I would be travelling back and forth throughout the day. In addition, I wanted to take part in the programme during the Human Rights Days in Jönköping.
