80s party in Gothenburg

Already last Friday we told you that we met the adventurers Micke and Julia, from Living our dreams (@the.swedish.camel.rider on Instagram), in Gothenburg. They told us that "On Saturday we're having an 80s party. Do you want to come?" And we did!

After two nights in the Gothenburg archipelago, we rolled back to Micke and Julia, and now we became motorhome number four in the car park outside them. Two more motorhome couples had come to the party!

In attendance, dressed to the nines, were Sanna and Jan from Little family travelling (who have made insanely exciting journeys!) and Petra and Micke from @petralisahellqvist on Instagram. What a nice group and what a great atmosphere!

After relaxing on the terrace at Micke and Julia's house, it was time to go to the local pub, which had organised an 80s quiz. It was a really fun evening, even though it was not went so well for our team in the quiz ...

Coffee with the "Restanten"

In the evening, when we were at the local pub, we got a message on Instagram: "Hi! Saw your car here in ... Are you in the area?" We didn't see the message until a bit later, but it turned out that another acquaintance from the travel blogging world was in the same local pub. So, how likely is it...?

The next day we got in touch with Evy (aka "Restanten") from the @residuals on Instagram, and decided to meet at a café in Kungälv. Fantastic fun to meet! We have had some contact in social media over the years, but have never met "in real life" before.

Evy is a recent retiree with incredible energy, travelling the world in search of city experiences, concerts and handball matches. Right now she had her sights set on two (!) art evenings with Rammstein and visits from foreign friends. How nice that we were able to meet!

West coast

After leaving all our friends in Gothenburg, we set off on new adventures along the west coast. The plan now is to circle slowly northwards in Bohuslän. What we can conclude so far is that it is incredibly charming and picturesque. Simply amazingly beautiful!

At last a copy of the magazine for yourself

Our physical summer magazine is now available at campsites around Sweden. We ourselves got to hold a copy for the first time the other day, when we entered the Hav & Logi campsite in Skärhamn. For those of you who do not know, you can find the magazine in the leaflet unnecessarily the free magazine "Motorhome and Caravan on the road". The digital version of the magazine can be found at this link.

Best this week

The best thing this week has been all the wonderful meetings with people we got to know through social media. What energy you get from such meetings! In addition, it is fun that we finally have the opportunity to experience Bohuslän.

What has been the best part of your week?
