My (Helena's) mum turned 70 not long ago, so we invited my parents to Afternoon Tea at the Grand Hotel today. When something is served at the Grand, it is of course luxurious and good. We had a really nice afternoon!

ShareLuxury Afternoon Tea
We got a window table in the Cardier bar at the Grand Hotel and after a little while we were served a three-storey platter with lots of goodies. On the platter were small scones with good jams, sandwishes with tasty fillings and small sweet pastries. This was accompanied by tea and a glass of champagne. Very tasty and luxurious!
Don't forget to book well in advance!
This little event has to be booked almost a month in advance, but if you have a free afternoon and not too tight on cash, it's a pleasure that can be recommended! We had a very nice afternoon in the Cardier bar, where we could sit and look out over the castle, the boat traffic and all the summer dressed people in the sunshine. Hope you had a good Sunday too!

We have been there for breakfast a few times and it is really nice. Next time it will be Afternoon tea instead. It is expensive but it is well worth the money, I think 🙂.
