Peter is working extra today, and I am at home in the boat. The neighbours pointed out to me that the start of the Mälaren Runt on MC would be at 11:00, from Pampas Marina. For the 28th year in a row, a huge group of motorcyclists gather and ride around Lake Mälaren, with various stops and activities.

I didn't really have a clue about this at all with the Mälaren Runtbut it was fun to see the start from the marina. So many different models of motorcycles - and riders! Many go all in when styling their bike and their outfit. So don't be surprised if you meet lots of motorcycles on the roads around Lake Mälaren today!

I participated in 2004, and I remember that there were over 10,000 motorcycles. Last year I found information that there were 15,000 riders. It was an enormously wonderful experience.
