If you won your dream house, what would be in your garage? We were asked this question, and naturally started thinking about it. We already have our dream houseboat, but a garage would be great! And it would have to be BIG. First of all, we have to have room for our motorhome. It's outside all year round, but it doesn't feel optimal. It would probably feel really good to be protected from the weather and wind.
Extra high garage
The garage must therefore be extra high and must of course have a nice and extra high garage door. I don't know how many people have their campervan in a garage, but at the Krafer, with whom I am writing this post, you can order different sizes of garage doors.
Bicycles, boats and tools
In the garage we would also like to have a new bike each (ours was stolen earlier this year) or maybe a trikke (small electric vehicle we saw at the Caravan Stockholm show). We would also like to make room for a boat! We'd love to have a small motorised boat to run errands in, and in winter we could store it in the garage.
Then we would build a tool room. We have so many tools, and they're all jumbled up in boxes, stacked on top of each other. It would be perfect to be able to organise it neatly and tidily in a garage. In other words, our dream garage would be ... big. What would your dream garage look like and what would you store there?

In the garage, I think I would have to have a car, boat, bike and scooter. Depends on where the dream house is located 😉 Maybe I would even turn the garage into a stable and keep my animals there! That would be something 🙂

As for the garage, we don't need one now because the car is going away.
But we have had a garage under the house where we live and it has been absolutely perfect as we live in the city and have not had to look for a parking space outside.
We have two good basement storage rooms where we can store what we do not want in the apartment, tools, balcony furniture, wardrobes, etc.
But I don't have a dream garage. But I do have dream journeys...
We have a locked space for the bikes and they are fine there.
But I can understand that you may need extra storage and if you dream of something, it can usually be fulfilled.

I already live in my dream house and have my dream garage (not big) and there is my riding mower and small electric car. Plus a few other things that make everyday life easier.

Personally, I do not want a garage, because in 99% of the cases it will always be a basement or attic storage room with lots of "rubbish" in it. However, it wouldn't be bad to have a warm garage just for the car during the winter ...

Renates Reiser, it would be great to be able to take the horse to work!
🙂
Ditte, fantastic with a garage in the centre of town! It can usually be a bit tricky with parking ...
Steve, you really have a dream house! And the garage seems to fulfil the needs too!
🙂
BP, of course it's easy, but in my dream it's very organised and nice, hehe.

I would like to have a rat-proof and moisture-proof container to store a lot of nostalgia, things that I don't have the heart to throw away. Then we could move to a much smaller house, maybe the last rental house we built. It is really mini everywhere but is enough for two people without a ballast of old stuff. 😉 . But I really hate rats, they must not destroy anything.
I have now read all about your trip to Poland! Fun with a different country that is not primarily a tourist country. It seems a bit genuine with food and other things. And what a nice coast you have!
