Systembolaget now has a boxed wine in the shape of ... a caravan! Markus Eriksson of Rewine does not hide the fact that they want to sell the wine to campers, but hopes that customers will also think the wine tastes good.

The Carawine wine comes from Puglia on the south coast of Italy and is a primitivo from old vines, with flavours of dark berries and chocolate. The price at Systembolaget is 209 SEK. Have you tried this wine, or would you like to try it? We haven't (yet), but it's a fun idea ...!

Now I don't like dark berries or chocolate and also get a migraine from red, but on the other hand I'm not a camper either;-)

Thank you very much for the tip. We just have to buy it for our travelling companion during many summer trips. We drive a motorhome and they have a caravan so we usually argue about the pros and cons of each accommodation.

Fun idea, fun packaging and clever name! And a good price by Swedish standards. Here in Torrevieja we do not pay more than a little over 2 euros for a bottle of wine that is good. So about 14 euros for a box. But there are cheaper ones that are also good. But the Swedish taxes are high on wine....
