Friday at last! This has (as usual) been a crazy week. In addition to mingling at the Portuguese Embassy on Monday, we have had a press breakfast and opened up our home for reports. We've also had (almost) a record number of visitors to the blog.

Press breakfast with Antor
Last Wednesday we were invited to a press breakfast with Antor (the network of foreign tourist agencies in Sweden). This is an opportunity to mingle with the different tourist agencies and discuss both travel ideas and possible collaborations, while meeting other journalists and bloggers in the travel industry.
This year Antor awarded a prize for the best blog travel report and it was won by our fellow travel blogger in the group. Swedish Travel Bloggers, namely Lena from Ladies Abroad. Lena won a trip to Hong Kong with SAS, a well-deserved prize for a great travel blog!
Report on us
Yesterday afternoon/evening we had a visit from a journalist and a photographer for a report. about us and about living in houseboat. Exciting! We don't yet know where it will be published, but we'll tell you more when we do. And if you see it before we do... shout out!
Improving the blog
We're doing a lot of work on the blog right now, including making the menu easier to use on a mobile phone. You can now only see five main headings (instead of many more) and the sub-headings fold out under these. (If you see it as before, it may be because your phone has a "memory". You can reset this memory by clearing history and website data in settings, but it may forget other things as well).
We will also rebuild other features of the blog to make it more user-friendly for you. To rebuild, we're hiring a web developer, which of course costs money. How do we finance things like this? Well, we do it through the sponsored posts (collaborations) that you sometimes see here on the blog!
(Almost) record number of visitors
We write on our blog that we have about 25,000 unique visitors per month according to Google Analytics. This is pretty accurate, although it varies from month to month. In the summer we had almost 30,000 unique visitors per month. Now we also have almost 30,000 unique visitors, but only almost... Maybe we will reach 30,000 visitors/month today Friday, who knows?

Today is a much-needed Friday off after a busy working week as usual. Now we are on the train to Stockholm with members of the Fotoklubben for a weekend of photography. We think this is a good start to a Happy Friday!

Fun! Yes, I am a bit away from your numbers, although I see that it goes up even for my blog. February was my second best month ever in the number of visitors, and that's good considering that the month only has 28 days 🙂.
But the best thing about this week, it must be the days in Cambodia and then especially the temples of Angkor Wat and all the good food I ate in the country. Then during the week I have been invited to lunch by two different readers and that is always nice!

Last weekend it was real winter in Åre, in Malmö Lund it snowed today. Now I'm on the train to Stockholm, F&S turns 40 years old and tonight there will be a reunion for the old Ski Section to speculate about jubilee ski activity next winter.
Will stay at small Design hotel Norrmalm. But unfortunately travelling down again Saturday morning.
