Austria ends lockdown and opens winter season

On 19 November 2021, Austria introduced a lockdown to curb the spread of infection. The number of new cases has now significantly decreased and vaccination coverage has increased. As a result, Austria will gradually reopen the lockdown as of 12 December. The opening is subject to safety measures and takes into account the situation in different regions. Germany introduces stricter pandemic rules

Germany introduced stricter pandemic rules at the beginning of December, especially for unvaccinated people. People who are not vaccinated are not allowed to visit restaurants, cinemas, theatres, nightclubs or shops other than grocery stores and pharmacies. In addition, restrictions are imposed on the number of people in the same venue/event regardless of vaccination, and face masks are generally required throughout the country.

Please note that rules vary between Länder and can change at short notice. For example, Saxony is closed for tourism and some other Länder have closed all Christmas markets (Bavaria, Brandenburg and Thuringia).

Substantial increase in travel offer from Norrköping Airport with Detur 2022

They row across the Atlantic for the Baltic Sea porpoise!

After a year and a half of preparation, Sören Kjellkvist and Måns Kämpe will now row across the Atlantic, with a scheduled departure on 14 December 2021 from the Netherlands.
