Wow, what a week of meetings it has been! There have been both physical meetings and video meetings, and even though we are very much at home in the boat, it feels like things are happening. And soon we are actually going on a little trip. Happy Friday!

Finally triple vaccinated
We ended last week with the third injection. It felt good because there will soon be both fairs and travel for our part. But puh what we got sick! We both felt bad and I (Helena) had a fever and chills for several days. But now it is better. So, Happy Friday!
Meeting of the journalists' association
We are part of an association for travel journalists (and other travel writers), and Peter is on the board. Due to the pandemic, the association has not met for ages, but this week it was time. Very nice! There was a shrimp sandwich and some bubbly and chat for a few hours. We realised that we probably missed this - meeting other people from time to time - quite a lot. Anyone who recognises?
Meetings, meetings, meetings ...
Otherwise, the whole week has been characterised by meetings, meetings and meetings. It has been absolutely crazy. Peter and his brother Micke are working on collaborations with other companies, and preparations for the Kistamässanand right now it is so a lot going on at the same time.
From being a little bit stagnant, it just happens to be all at once. Of course, it's a lot of fun, even if we sometimes feel totally exhausted. But while you get tired, you also get energised by new ideas and positive collaborations. I hope you will come to the fair - because some of the new products will be presented there!
Best this week
The best part of this week? Stepping out of our little bubble and meeting other people - both via video meetings and in person. We even had a mid-week celebration with sous vide entrecote, baked potatoes and wine. What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
Today, Friday, we will have another meeting with a new partner and then there will be some meetings with friends. Next week we will do something as exotic as travelling to Denmark. We are going to a travel and camping fair there, and it will be really exciting. Of course, you can check in here at freedomtravel.se for daily updates!

A trip to Denmark doesn't sound bad at all 😀.
The best thing this week was the little mini-trip we just came home from. Only one night away, but definitely better than nothing. You have to be happy for the little things too!

How nice for you to be triple vaccinated! It's worth a few sick days on the sofa! Isn't it great to finally be able to meet people outside your inner circle again, but at the same time unusual?!? How fun for you to go on a trip to Denmark.
Our best thing this week is that the Gothenburg-Kiel ticket is booked in Easter week. Then we will meet the spring in Europe for a month, how wonderful it will be!

Everything happens at the same time...yes please! We have a March month that looked very calm until we discovered that what we booked was two birthdays (one 2 years and one 70!), Kista fair and stump event (what is it? Don't ask me! The husband who saw in some fb group...) all on the same weekend!!! Lucky we can rest until then! 😉
I think the best part of this week was when I could go and visit the children! The husband was at home resting.

As usual, you have been busy. Think how much you have managed to do despite the "sprint end". Good to be fully waxed before travelling to Denmark.
Fun with the brothers there in your houseboat. Peter and his brother are not at all similar in appearance. It's great that they can work together so well.

Yes, when travelling it feels extra good to be vaccinated. Both to reduce the risk of infection / infection, but also to avoid hassle at borders, etc. And no, it is not so similar, but they thrive together 🙂

Good mash! Managed a good Pasta Vongole the other day. Not planning much right now, but it will probably start soon. Looking forward to Sweden Rock in June, maybe even something else before that. All good!
