Holidaying in Europe? The world is starting to open up and you can start dreaming about - and planning for - travelling in Europe. Here are ten European countries that we like.

Holidays in Europe

We like to holiday in Europe. Although we also like to visit even more exotic destinations from time to time, we have to say that we think Europe has a lot to offer.

Plus, of course, it's a relatively accessible part of the world - whether you're travelling by motorhome or otherwise. Picking ten countries wasn't easy (there are many more we like!), but here are a few of our favourites.

1. France - nature and food

France is one of our absolute favorite countries in Europe. We love everything from the beautiful language to the amazing nature. Here you can experience both exotic islands and dramatic canyons. And then there's the food! We think you can almost always get good and varied food in France – at reasonable prices.

2. Poland - beaches and cities

We have traveled many times in Poland, and it is a country we love to return to. There are lovely sandy beaches, beautiful cities and also exciting places where you can, for example, experience wild bison or the Masurian lakes.

3. Iceland - adventure and drama

Iceland is a fantastic country with dramatic nature in the form of geysers, volcanoes and waterfalls. If you want, you can experience the landscape from horseback. Reykjavik is also an exciting city, bustling with culture and with plenty of interesting restaurants.

4. Germany - themed roads and castles

Germany is a friendly, pleasant and camper-friendly country, which offers great variety. There is beautiful nature, charming cities, interesting theme roads and historical sights. In addition, there are beaches, beer, white wine and festivals, and the price level is good. What not to like?

5. Estonia - tranquillity and history

Estonia is more than Tallinn. Enough because Tallinn is a lovely and fascinating city, but it is exciting to also see more of the country. The countryside is beautiful and peaceful and there are many interesting places to visit. Not least, it is interesting to take part in the Swedish history that is everywhere.

6. Croatia - islands and national park

Croatia is a holiday paradise with a long, stunning coastline and thousands of islands. You can't go wrong when you travel to Croatia - you'll be right everywhere. In addition, there are a number of fantastic national parks and many beautiful and historic cities.

7. Belgium - beer and canals

Belgium is a small but charming country. Discover cities and towns like Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent. Glide around the cozy canals, visit breweries and learn to drink beer like a Belgian.

8. Switzerland - mountains and beauty

Maybe it is Switzerland one of the most beautiful places to vacation in Europe. The mountains are high, the nature is green and the views are breathtaking in many places. We also like the opportunity for adventure, the delicious cheeses and the high quality of interactive museums and experiences.

9. Czech Republic - greenery and sights

Czech Republic is a country we like a lot. It is nice and easy to travel here with a camper. The nature is beautiful and there are plenty of attractions in the form of cities, castles, palaces and glassworks. There is also a spa tradition and good white wines. And the price range is pleasant!

10. Malta - swimming and culture

Malta is the destination for those who want to experience sun and water, but also a large dose of culture and history. Valletta is a fantastic city and it is also interesting to visit the historic capital Mdina. Also don't miss the island of Gozo with nature experiences and local produce.
