This week there have been many meetings and a trip to Gothenburg. In addition, we are preparing for the upcoming fair. And we are sending parcels and living the houseboat life... Happy Friday!

Meetings around Sweden - and a hotel night in Gothenburg.
Peter and his brother Micke (who works with us as a media salesman) have made a "tour" in Sweden this week for various meetings. We have many collaborations going on and Peter and Micke booked meetings along a "round".
There was an overnight stay at Gothia Towers in Gothenburg and a legendary King Size shrimp sandwich at Heaven 23. What about the meetings? Yes, both pleasant and exciting. It will happen a great deal on FREEDOMtravel during the year, we can promise!
Preparing for the fair
We are also currently working hard on preparations for the Motorhome fair 18-20 March at Kistamässan in Stockholm. We will be there with a large Destination Square, lots of travel inspiration and no less than 6 (!) lectures.
For this, we are ordering a lot of exhibition material, and there will be packages every other day with different kinds of signs, banners, vests and all kinds of other things... We hope to see you at the exhibition!
Deliveries from the webshop
Every day or every other day we walk up to PostNord to deliver parcels from web shops. These days, with Valentine's Day approaching, the number of bags of heart-shaped pasta has gone through the roof. The following products have been the most popular during the month of January:
- Motif paste camper vans (out of stock)
- Glass mats for motorhomes
- Motorhome bedding sets
- Motif paste hearts
- Light lantern motorhomes
Removing ice
Of course, our everyday life is also made up of houseboat life. Currently, it has been both cold and windy, and crushed ice floes are drifting towards the marina.
The problem with the small ice floes is that they bump against the hull. Our hull can withstand this with no problem, but the thumping sound sounds like high and it becomes almost impossible to sleep. From time to time Peter goes out with a broom and tries to remove the ice floes ...
Best this week
The best part of this week is undoubtedly all the positive meetings that bode well for future collaborations. Right now it feels like really funny working with FREEDOMtravel! What has been the best part of your week...?
The week ahead
In the coming week we have even more meetings booked with different companies, but now mostly as video meetings. We will be busy all week!

For us, the most positive thing is that restrictions have been lifted and the future regarding the pandemic feels really positive. Then we had a really nice weekend on Tjörn and Klädesholmen despite the gale and mixed weather, so nice to get away for a few days....
..... and we are one week closer to the motorhome premiere....

Yes, that shrimp sandwich is really famous. Everyone, exactly everyone who spends the night at Gothia Towers eats the world-famous sandwich. Very funny, really!
