High pressure on travel during the autumn holidays

The autumn holiday week is popular for travel-hungry Swedes and especially this year, when the week was almost fully booked at TUI. This is a 40 per cent increase compared to the booking situation last year and 10 per cent more trips sold than before the pandemic. Most popular destinations on TUI during the autumn holidays in 2022:

Best quarter ever for First Camp Group

First Camp, Scandinavia's largest camping chain, more than doubled its turnover in the third quarter compared to the previous year, reaching SEK 610.3 million, up from SEK 291.6 million.

"We are pleased and proud of this strong result in the most important quarter of the year. Our continued efforts to improve the guest experience and commercial development are having a positive impact. At the same time, we continue to grow through acquisitions. In addition, during the year we have increased both guest and employee satisfaction, which provides solid conditions for continued rapid growth and strong results", says First Camp's CEO Johan Söör.

Jacy'z Hotel & Resort has now opened in Gothenburg.

The doors have now opened for Gothenburg's new city centre resort and ESS Group's 11th destination - Jacy'z Hotel & Resort. Restaurant, bar, conference and hotel guests are now welcome. At Jacy'z Hotel and Resort there are several different restaurant and bar concepts, a pool club 100 metres in the air, a large meeting facility, sports club and lots of activities such as pool tables, table tennis, deli and flower shops.

Spritmuseum opens new drinks exhibition - ÖL!

On 17 November, it's time and this time ÖL is taking place at the Liquor Museum in Stockholm. Sweden has quickly become one of the world's most brewery-rich countries in terms of population, but how did our journey begin and what does it look like today? The exhibition offers a generous breadth where Swedish beer history coexists with trend spotting. Belgian Christmas beer Delirium Noël launched at Systembolaget

Delirium Noël from the Brouwerij Huyghe brewery in Belgium takes its place among Systembolaget's Christmas beers and is available in over 200 stores from 1 November. Delirium Noël is one of the classic Belgian Christmas beers. Robust and packed with notes of syrup loaf, pomerans, crackers, Christmas spices and dried fruit, as well as a stronger alcohol content of 10 per cent. Only 13,300 bottles will be launched exclusively at Systembolaget.

Reflection of the week

One of the most popular destinations during the autumn holidays at TUI, was Cyprus. We are going there soon and it is a trip we are very much looking forward to!
