The area also contains the mythical 'Silver Arrow'. According to several urban legends, this subway car is believed to have been a train where the dead travelled, including to Kymlinge station, a station that was never used and was therefore considered a station where the dead get off.

For example, there is a story about a girl who had been to a disco in the centre of Stockholm and was about to take the metro home. She thought the passengers looked a bit strange, and when the train finally stopped, they were at Kymlinge station. The girl's fellow passengers walked up to - and through - the locked door of the station. According to one version of the story, the girl was later found dead, and according to another, she was found alive a week later, but terrified.
