Happy Friday friends! This week we can rejoice in the fact that we got the water pressure back in our taps, and that we finally got to the front of the queue for the doctor to fix Peter's knee. We had a great time during our motorhome trip in Europe, but it's still not bad to be back home in the houseboat. The best thing about living in a houseboat is that it never feels as boring to come home after a trip, as we sometimes thought before. It is always nice to see the boat again!

Good and bad days are part of life. Yesterday the sun was shining and the Pampas marina was at its very best. The small boats puffed in and out and our houseboat neighbours were sunbathing on their patios. I myself had a migraine and lay in the bed at the bottom of the boat just all day. But I'm not complaining! We also have a lot of fun to look forward to.

Last night we enjoyed a lovely Friday evening with a potluck in the houseboat, together with Peter's son Robin and his wife Alexandra. We had a lovely evening with blue sky, good food and lots of talk and laughter.

Then it was Friday again, and time to think about the best part of the week. The best thing for us was that Peter came home on Thursday evening, from the island where he had been working for almost two weeks. Great! Other good things are that we finally got better security on the blog, that the ducklings in the marina are so cute that you want to adopt them and that we got a new ... hat!

This week I'm exceptionally happy that it's Friday! The summer weather outside is absolutely fantastic, so there's every reason to be happy. At the same time, I have been hysterically tired all week. It's great that it's finally Friday. Happy Friday!
