New curtains and drapes in the motorhome

Now that we've decided to change the upholstery in the motorhome from blue to brown, we have to change the curtains and drapes too... This weekend we've been sewing and fixing!

Changing the colour of the interior

When we bought the motorhome, all the fabrics were blue and white. The seats, cushions and mattresses were striped in blue and white. The curtains, which you draw for the beds, were blue. At the windows there were both thin white curtains and thicker curtains in blue and white. Now we have remodelled so that the seats and cushions are brown, and then of course we also have to do something about the curtains and drapes.

When it came to cushions and seats, we needed some help, but curtains and drapes are a bit easier, so we managed to do that ourselves. We bought brown fabric for the curtains, and for the windows we made do with the bright white curtains.

Peter needled and I sewed as we worked together on our curtains and drapes... what teamwork! In the photos you can see Peter working, and one of the finished curtains.
