Motorhome travellers want to be close
Motorhome travellers do not usually want to stay in campsites. Instead, they want the car to be within walking distance of the city centre. There are many parking spaces at the harbours, which is often perfect! In addition, there is usually already service for the boats, so if you just make room and put out some electric poles, everything is ready! The cost of organising these sites is quickly recouped by the fee you pay for staying there overnight.
Motorhome drivers can contribute to the economy
But that's not all! Who are the people who have a motorhome? Often relatively wealthy (a new motorhome costs between 650,000 and 2 million!) 50+ couples.
Once parked, don't be surprised if they want to visit one of the town's restaurants, take a tour of the local museum, shop at the supermarket or why not pick up some arts and crafts? It's a win-win situation for motorhome travellers and local authorities! More pitches, please!
