Yesterday it was time to leave Poland and head for the ferry. We had to wait for a long time in the ferry terminal before we could roll on, but finally it was time to head for Stockholm. The ferries are pretty boring really, but we were a big group and still had a good time.
Polferries
Polferries has bought up old Gotland ferries that are a little worn, but perfectly ok. It is not a fantastically fun boat, but there is a small tax-free, a restaurant (where the rauk paintings from Fårö still hang), a cafeteria, a grill kiosk on deck (where the Poles eat thick Polish sausage along with a roll, a pickle, a huge dollop of mustard and of course a beer) and a nightclub. We danced until quite late and today we enjoyed the sun on deck. But in Stockholm we were met by rain, thunder and hail ...

When we rolled off in Stockholm, it felt like the holiday was far away. Now there was no longer any sun, but instead thunder, rain and hail.

Nice to follow your journey. We will go to Poland, but will wait a bit and take the countries at the bottom of Europe first. When we get "older" and don't want to go so far, it is good to have the countries around the Baltic Sea left.
