Then it was time to lift the catamaran down from the roof of the motorhome ... After various discussions back and forth, we decided to ask if we could get help in a high boathouse, where there was a winch. No problem!

ShareOn the ground in Poland
Now we are in Poland. We took the ferry here, Gdansk-Nynäshamn and then rolled to Mechelinki där våra vänner Lennart och Beata har köpt ett sommarhus. Vi åkte hit för att njuta av kusten och se våra vänners hus, men samtidigt lovade vi att forsla med deras nya katamaran.
Hur då? Jo, vi tog den helt enkelt på taket på husbilen! Vi baxade tillsammans upp katamaranen hemma i Sverige, men hur vi sedan skulle få ner den? Det visste vi inte, men vi tänkte att det nog löser sig på något sätt …
Help to lift the catamaran
In Mechelinki we found a boathouse where some old men were working. We asked, with the help of Beata who speaks Polish, and sure enough we would get help! We backed Freedom in and several guys helped to attach the hook to the catamaran and ensure that it was lifted up smoothly, while the motorhome rolled away. Then it was just to put it on wheels and roll it down to the water. It went really smoothly!
Payment? They said it didn't cost anything, but of course we could share a bottle of whiskey! Now the catamaran is down from the roof and we can continue our adventures in Mechelinki and Poland.
