Soon it is time for the campers' "New Year's Eve" - the big fair Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2016. We'll be there to showcase our blog, while also blogging and reporting intensively on the fair. Maybe we'll even see you there?

ShareWe report from the fair
This year, the Elmia fair has been extended by one day and will take place from 7 to 11 September, outside the Jönköping. The fair will of course feature lots of new motorhomes, caravans and accessories. In addition, campsites, destinations, associations and all sorts of consumer goods (from cloudberry jam and embroidery machines to model railways and garage doors) will be represented on the stands.
We'll be there all day to "live blog" - even more "here and now" blogging, with more frequent updates than usual. We will write about new products and publish short interviews with interesting people we meet. Among other things, we may report on:
- Smove - The exciting new motorhome from Niesmann+Bischoff which we have written about before
- Sealander - Caravan or houseboat ... or maybe both at the same time?
- Oktoberfest - Beer in real pails, bratwurst, sauerkraut and Tyrolean music each evening
- Elmia Grill - Top barbecue tips from chef Peter G Nilsson
Are you coming to Elmia too? Give us a shout if you see us or look for us - we will have a small standing table in Lobby South.

Yes, I will be there! But only on Saturday and Sunday. We have also booked the barbecue buffet on Saturday. It will be so much fun! Already when I was camping in Australia in 2008, my mate and I started dreaming about going to this fair but it hasn't happened. ?

Now I will be a little sentimental.I miss a whole year of reading when you made your European trip in 2015. Especially when you laid out your trip's trip with colour.To the point I think you should start a new topic in your blog all we get problems with faults in the car & house part especially when it comes to Fiat (I myself have told you that you had faults in the egr valve or throttle.There is a large forum in the motorhome world that writes about problems & solutions just a j ... Mass besserwisser . Peter good pictures with the taillight connector not difficult to change but you just have to remove a lot of stuff first. Last but not least good pictures of the water leak in the toilet Regards Roland Lindskog.

Villa Freja, absolutely! This is the biggest and best motorhome and caravan fair in Sweden.
Ama de casa, haha that's probably true. Maybe there are tents at Vildmarksmässan instead? 😉

PS. I myself have exhibited at Elmia many years ago - excavators and wheel loaders etc. Great fun. Jönköping is Sweden's Bible belt and I remember laughing my head off when we discovered a bottle of wine with a "jusus cork" on it at Systembolaget:-)))) DS
