Cool menswear in Stockholm - inauguration at Taracci

FREEDOMtravel goes fashion blog - at least for one day. Peter's absolute favourite store for cool menswear in Stockholm, Taracci, has moved and yesterday was the opening party for the new store. Are you looking for stylish menswear for the New Year's Eve party or maybe you're looking for a Christmas gift with that little extra? A hot tip is to check out Taracci!

From the MOOD shopping centre to Tegnergatan

Taracci was for a while in MOOD gallerybut in the long run it became difficult to stay there as a small self-employed person. High rents combined with the fact that a shopping centre is forced to have long opening hours made it unsustainable in the end.

Now Taracci has moved to a new location at Tegnergatan 14, near the Rådmansgatan metro station. You will also find the shop on the web. If you've been following our blog for a while, you'll know that this has long been Peter's favourite shop, and that Peter's son Robin worked here for a while. Of course we came to the opening party!

Update in 2023: Taracci has a new address at Gamla Brogatan 17.

Own design and high quality

Feyo Taracci is a clothing designer and designs all the garments herself. The shop offers shirts with stylish details, but also jeans, waistcoats, jackets, outerwear, shoes, belts, cufflinks and more. Everything is sewn up in high quality fabrics and only in a small number of each garment.

Yesterday, we also discovered that Feyo has taken in and is selling pre-folded (!) chest scarves from Björn Törnblom Accessories. Björn came up with the idea when he sold handkerchiefs and discovered that customers also wanted him to fold them. Just as well to sell them pre-folded!

Mingle at Taracci

Yesterday there was a mingle and really crowded in the small shop. Very nice, but we will probably have to go back another day to look at the clothes in peace and quiet. Apparently there will also be some news in the near future. If you also want to take a look, stop by any day, except Sundays and Mondays when Feyo is closed. When you are completely alone in running a shop, you have to have a day off once in a while too ...
