We have lots to be excited about this week! For starters, we're happy that there are not is war, as you might have thought when five military helicopters hovered overhead earlier this week. We're also excited that our blog has made Cision's top travel blog list and that we're about to embark on another exciting journey.

This week, we are pleased to announce that it is not is war. When I (Helena) came home from work the other day, I only had time to lie down on the sofa before five (!) military helicopters got me on my feet. All five buzzed just above our houseboat and almost went into the water. Pampas marina. Is there a war going on? No, we think it was terrorist exercise. Still peace then - great!
Top 10 list of travel bloggers
This week we were contacted by the communications company Cision, which has named this year's (according to them) 10 best travel blogs. We made the list, which we are of course very happy about! The placements on blog leaderboard is based on a methodology based on links, relevance, frequency of blog updates, reader comments and social media popularity.
We're off to Ireland soon!
The best part of this week is preparing for our trip to Ireland! On Saturday we fly to Dublin, and then we will be travelling around by motorhome. How exciting will that be? Of course, we'll be blogging throughout the trip, so we hope you'll join us!

After our tour of Scotland, I have longed to return, and even more so to Ireland. Congratulations on a well-deserved place on the top list.
It will surely be a wonderful trip with a motorhome in Ireland. We have read information about various hiking trips on the green island and such a trip is quite high on the wish list.
The best of the week was undoubtedly when I punched out of work a while ago and did not punch in until 7 June. Now it feels like we're carrying half the household goods to the motorhome and tomorrow night we'll be on the ferry to Kiel.
