FREEDOMtravel + Resia = true! We have been dying to tell you about this fun collaboration, and now it's finally time! Now you have the opportunity to go on an exclusive group trip with us in early October, in collaboration with Resia. How does it work?

FREEDOMtravel and Resia have together selected five fantastic destinations. We plan to travel for a week, departing around 6 October 2018. We think this is going to be so much fun, and we really hope you want to join us!

5 destinations - Where should we go?

Now we need your help! We are presenting five travel destinations, and we want you to help us choose by telling us which or which destinations you want to travel to, or read about. If you have more favourites, please number them in order. The destination that gets the most votes - that's where we're travelling!

You can vote until Saturday 12 May. As soon as we know the winning destination, we will start working with Resia to customise the trip. This will be an exclusive trip, with activities and excursions selected for us! Here you can read about the five options:

1st Slovenia & Istria (Croatia)

We are travelling to Slovenia with beautiful Ljubljana, Postojnaa Cave and Predjama Castle. We continue to Istria where we taste truffles, which are in their peak season in October. We visit the wonderful peninsula of Rovinj and walk the cobblestone alleys in the autumn heat. Here we can also experience the Brijuni National Park outside Fazana and Tito's old summer house, as well as the world's smallest city Hum. Could it be something?

2. the Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic we can experience wonderful Prague, with a city walk and boat trip. We continue to the marvellous city of Brnowhere we visit vineyards and large beautiful castles. Here we get an exclusive tour of the summer castle. Lednice built by the Lichtenstein family. We can also see Central Europe's largest wine barrel in this charming town. Mikulov, and take us to Punkva caves where we go by boat in the caves north of Brno. Also a good option?

3. Malta & Gozo

Malta and the sister island Gozo is, in our opinion, a pearl of the Mediterranean. Extend your summer and experience Malta's fascinating history and beautiful capital. Valletta. Here we can stroll along the seafront promenade in St Julians and Sliema, and take a boat trip to Gozo where we experience the citadel of Victoria and taste the island's local organic produce. Perhaps there will also be a trip to the wonderful island of Comino with its crystal clear waters. Why not?

4. Portugal

In Portugal we visit the charming capital city Lisbon, which offers fantastic viewpoints and tram rides up and down the famous seven hills. We also visit the fairytale castle of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its spires and towers. We also experience the colourful coastal city of Porto together. Exciting, isn't it?

5. Great Britain

In south-west England, Cornwall has a dramatic coastline, powdery beaches and turquoise waters. We experience Bath and the Roman underground springs discovered in the late 19th century, and we walk in the footsteps of Jane Austen.

We also experience Cardiff with its fortresses, taste cheddar cheese and see steam locomotives chugging through the green countryside. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to take a canal boat trip and experience one of the highest tidal differences in the world at 15 metres. Would that work?

You can vote either by commenting on the blog, or by writing on the Facebook or Instagram. After 12 May, all votes will be counted. The destination with the most votes - that's where we'll be travelling. And we hope you'll join us! It will be Peter & Helena Bergström from FREEDOMtravel and Margareta Hallin from Resia and Hallins travel blog that goes with you on the trip.
