A few weeks ago we told you that we are planning a trip this autumn in collaboration with Resia - and the special thing about this trip is that you have the chance to join us! To decide where the trip should go, we presented five different destinations that everyone could vote for, and now we can tell you which destination received the most votes. This autumn we (and maybe you?) are going to Slovenia and Istria!

ShareTravelling to Slovenia and Istria
In the post where we told you about the trip you could choose to vote for one or more of five destinations. In addition, you could vote for our Facebook page and on our Instagram page. The destination that received the most votes - we and Resia promised to organise a trip there!
The five destinations voted for were 1) Slovenia & Istria, 2) Czech Republic, 3) Malta & Gozo, 4) Portugal and 5) United Kingdom. The destination with the most votes was, without any doubt whatsoever, Slovenia and Istria in Croatia. So there we go this autumn!!!
Now we start organising the trip
Now our work of planning the trip begins! Peter spoke with Margareta Hallin at Resia latest yesterday and they both, in their own way, start pulling strings to make this a really good trip with lots of exciting excursions. This will really be so much fun!
In about two weeks we will be able to tell you more about the content of the trip. Then we will also announce a competition where you can win two tickets. We can already confirm that the trip will take place, and that the dates are 6-13 October. So save some space in your diary if you are keen to join us!

As we are currently spending our last Croatian days in Istria, we understand very well why this destination received the most votes.
We can only hope that there will be more trips to other destinations. We have tried travelling in a small group in Africa a couple of times. Great fun!

Yes, such a lovely destination. I have been there on one occasion and before I was bought my owners rented another motorhome and drove there, can't not enjoy it.
I will probably have to follow the trip via the blog as my owners keep blaming it on holidays.
