Aruba, morning cinema and meetings with bloggers

It was Friday again. This has been a hectic, but very fun week. We've had time to meet lots of bloggers and get inspired for Aruba, and Peter has also been to the morning cinema. But best of all, we are travelling to Brussels today!

Lunch date with bloggers

I have been following Lena's lovely blog for a long time Good for the souland we have been on the verge of meeting several times. But it never really worked out ... until last Sunday!

Lena and Andreas were in Stockholm for a concert, and despite a busy schedule of dinners, brunches and museum visits, we managed to squeeze in a lunch date at the centre before they had to go home again. Very, very nice and fun! And imagine that it can feel like you have known each other for a long time, even though you have never met "for real"!

Aruba - "One happy Island"

On Tuesday, after completing a... afternoon Christmas table with work, it was time for the 'Travel Massive', an international association of the tourism industry. This time the theme was Aruba, the Dutch island in the Caribbean.

Among other things, we learnt that the islanders usually speak four languages (Papiamento, Dutch, Spanish and English) and that single-use plastics have been banned to protect the environment. And it certainly looks appealing! Have you ever been to Aruba?

Many bloggers at once

For us, it was perhaps most fun to meet all our blogging friends and colleagues. There were so many people there that we felt we probably didn't even get to talk to half of them ...

The film Crazy Rich Asians

On 10 December, Warner Bros will release the film Crazy Rich Asians for digital purchase, and because of this, Peter was invited to a morning cinema this week. The film has been a success in other parts of the world, but for some reason is not shown in cinemas in Sweden. The romantic comedy is about a Chinese-American girl who discovers that her boyfriend's family in Singapore is crazy rich, and was really funny according to Peter.

The best thing this week? It is that today we are travelling to Brussels! We will return with a first report on Sunday. What has been the best part of your week?
