It's almost time for the Beach Basket Challenge! This will be so exciting, and we hope that even you who are following from a distance will find this fun. You will be able to follow the journey in several ways, and of course we will also give you tips on interesting and fun things to see and do along the German Baltic Sea coast where we are travelling.

Many trips now
We've just returned from a trip to the beautiful Karlovy Vary region in the Czech Republic, and before that we spent several days in lovely Skåne. We haven't had time to tell you about everything yet, so there's more to come - both about the Czech Republic and about Skåne. But first we have to tell you what we have going on now!
The beach basket challenge
It's time for the "Beach Basket Challenge"! We will be seven motorhomes travelling from Gothenburg to Kiel, and then experience the road along the German Baltic Sea coast, before returning from Sassnitz to Trelleborg. The trip is a collaboration between the German Tourist Board, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Tourist Board (TMV) and Stena Line to showcase a great route suitable for travelling by motorhome.
Tips for things to see and do along the route
The German tourist office has done its best to pick out nice and fun things to see and do along the way, and we travellers are a small "test panel". We will check out cities, sights and campsites and tell you about them - both here on the blog and elsewhere (see below).
"Challenges" along the way!
In addition to testing and tips, there will be "challenges" along the way, where we motorhome teams will "compete" against each other. It is the German tourist office that is responsible for the challenges and we have no idea about what will happen ... We will keep a small score throughout the journey and one of the teams will be the winner. Here are the seven teams:

- Team Dreamteam - Gunilla and Janne
- Team Aviano - Christer and Petra
