Happy Friday and greetings from Kristianstad! We are in Skåne to visit blog friends and to discover Kristianstad. The best part of this week is definitely this visit, which has already included meeting blog friends, beautiful nature and amazing food.

We have recently made our way down to Kristianstad, and we will be hanging out here for several days. Fun! A travel blogger who lives here has organised a blog meeting, and we will also discover Kristianstad in collaboration with Visit Kristianstad. We have never been to this Scanian city before, so it feels really exciting!
Rain and great experiences
The torrential rain all day yesterday, so we were really unlucky with the weather, but despite that we had a super nice day. We managed to take a ferry to a cosy island, visit a beautiful castle and eat a 5-course dinner at a very special little restaurant. We do not have time to write more today, but we will tell you more soon!
With Daniela and Göran
The bloggers organising the meeting here in Kristianstad are Daniela and Göran, with the great travel blog Discovering the Planet. We came here a day before the other travel bloggers, and were generously invited to Daniela and Göran's new and fantastically nice summer house. A really nice evening with lots of talk and laughter!

Kristianstad is a Swedish town we have never been to, there are many of them. My friends and I will try to remedy this and start with a few days in Eksjö in late summer.

I will transport my horse there at the end of May to attend a course - Ride wine and dine. It will be so fun and exciting.
Can also highly recommend Bykrogen Österslöv just outside Kristianstad. Super good food. I am going there at the end of June for the conference and joint cooking.

Have never been to Kristianstad but once had Kristianstadsbladet as a customer. The person who most often called from there was a guy who always started with:
- Hi, this is Janne at Bladet.
So I guess their local newspaper is popularly known as "Bladet" 😀.
The best thing this week has (as usual) been all the wonderful meetings with good friends, and the fact that I was discharged already on Tuesday after Monday's operation. Then I have decided that it may be the last operation - and that also makes me happy 😀.

Have never been to Kristianstad, but have heard that it is nice there. Will certainly swing by with the motorhome at some point! The best thing about this week is that the partner is on the road to recovery after a hospital visit last week, that we got a new dishwasher and that it is a weekend and a small motorhome trip in progress!

Then we have been in the same city today. We have read about biosphere reserves were a little curious so we went to Naturum in the water kingdom. Not the first time we were there but it is a while ago now
