Anyone who's experienced in motorhome life knows that it's not every day on the road that the sun shines and the birds chirp. There are also days when the rain is pouring down and you want nothing more than to curl up in your campervan bunk and enjoy some indoor cosiness.

These days, many motorhomes are so spacious and comfortable that even a rainy day in a motorhome can be a great part of your holiday. And there's no need to be idle! Here are three tips for fun things to do when the beautiful weather fails to materialise.

Online gambling - casino, Wordfeud or WoW?

The range of games available to play online has certainly increased dramatically in recent years. Whether you prefer classic word games like Wordfeud, epic blockbuster games like World of Warcraft, or are looking for a game of casino without a break in play, online games can be a nice way to relax while listening to the rain pattering on the windows of your campervan.

Some, like Wordfeud, are completely free. Others, like WoW or casino games, cost a small fee. However, if you choose to play at a casino, you can win back your bet, at least with a bit of luck! You can choose freely between Swedish and foreign casinos. However, if you are looking for a casino without game breaks, you need to turn to a casino without a Swedish licence.

And don't forget that all gambling should be done responsibly - whether it's the Swedish krona in a casino or in-game currency in World of Warcraft.

Streaming films - YouTube, Netflix or SVTPlay?

Watching films is a classic activity for rainy days. And being in a motorhome is no barrier to this. As long as you have a good connection, you have the entire history of cinema to browse through, especially with major film services like Netflix and Yahoo! SVTPlay.

Even when it comes to watching films, there are free options. YouTube costs nothing, and neither does SVTPlay. However, Netflix and HBO Max, for example, are subscription services. If you don't have a steady internet connection in your motorhome, you can prepare yourself by downloading films for offline viewing from most streaming services.

Writing a book - fiction or autobiographical?

Many writers say that there is nothing more inspiring than being in a remote, slightly isolated place in the rain. They also say that everyone has a story. Take this opportunity to do some creative work in your safe and protected zone - the motorhome.

Starting to write doesn't have to be more complicated than writing a sentence on a piece of paper or in the word processing programme on your computer. Then you write another sentence.
