The time has finally come! Today the fair "Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2022" opens. We are on site and will be here during all days with a stand and lectures. Maybe we will see you?

Elmia Caravan Motorhome 2022
"Elmia Husvagn Husbil" is finally back after a two-year break due to the pandemic. Last year, there was also a motorhome and caravan fair, when the manufacturers KABE and Adria organised a own fair at Elmia, but now the 'real' fair is back.
The fair opens today, 7 September at 10:00 and runs until Sunday 11 September at 16:00. At the fair, you can see new camping vehicles and camping accessories, but the fair also offers a folk festival with lectures, children's activities, dancing, shrimp feast and Oktoberfest.

Our trip to Elmia
For us, the journey started yesterday. We drove from Pampas marina, where we live, in the morning. It was us (Peter and Helena) in the motorhome FREEDOM and Peter's brother Micke, who works with us as an ad salesman, in the white car. Fun!
Arrival at Elmia - and stand construction
Once at Elmia, it was time to build the stand. What a lot of work! But, in the end we got a stand anyway!
In the stand we have products that you can buy with the theme motorhome/caravan (really nice fair discounts when you buy more than one!), our summer magazine and some giveaways.
Meet us at the stand!
We will be present throughout the fair, with our stand located in the South Lobby. Come and talk to us, get a free copy of our magazine or maybe check out our range of motorhome and caravan themed products.
Welcome to our lectures!
We will hold three lectures during the fair, where we will talk about our favourite travel destinations, and you are of course very welcome! All lectures will be held on the Stage in Café Syd and you can see the programme below.

- Thursday 8 September at 13.30: Beautiful natural areas in the north of the Czech Republic. Location: Stage, Café Syd in Kongresshuset
- Friday 9 September at 13.30: The best places to visit in lovely Skåne. Location: Stage, Café Syd in Kongresshuset
- Saturday 10 September at 13.30: The idyllic Korsvirkesvägen in Germany. Location: Stage, Café Syd in Kongresshuset
We are getting ready!
We are now at the campsite at Elmia. It has been a first evening with some food and wine in the motorhome, and soon it is time for the fair. It will be really fun! Will we see you?

How fun it would have been to visit Elmia this year, but we'll have to follow you and other bloggers reporting on the fair while we enjoy a few more days in the mountains.

Under normal circumstances we would have been there. May follow you on the blog instead. Days like this remind us of what health means. But that's life. I last met one of my faithful blog friends at Elmia. Now he is gone. Time takes its toll. But wonderful with your blog.
