We are now here at Elmia Caravan Motorhome 2025! We came straight from the ferry from Poland - after five months on the road in southern Europe. Here at the fair, we were thrown straight into lectures and meetings with friends and acquaintances in the camping world!

On site at Elmia Caravan Motorhome

This year, the fair had arranged for all influencers/speakers to be camped in Ekdungen, where Camping kitchen is also a favourite haunt. Here we stand next to, among others MotorhomeAnnika, Jikitas on Adventure, Motorhome holidays and Adventures and Swedish Travel Life. We have a location right next to a small pond, and we feel that we have a magical place!

Lectures and mingle

We usually have a stand at Elmia, but this year we did not have time to prepare for it. A bit of a shame, of course, but at the same time nice to avoid the work of building up and down the stand. Instead, we can focus on our lectures, and on talking to exhibitors and mingling. We have also had time to listen to and talk about camping trends, according to the initial press briefing.

Our first lecture focused on travelling in Europe by motorhome, and the room was packed. Upcoming lectures will focus on France (Friday 15:30) and Corsica/Sardinia (Saturday 14:30).

Oktoberfest with friends

One of the best things about the Elmia fair is the mingling, socialising and partying! On Thursday evening there was an Oktoberfest for us, including Good for the soul, Bmlars travel blog and Reiselinda. What a lovely and happy evening!

This week: Grateful for ...

This week we are grateful to have experienced five fantastic months of motorhome travelling in Europe. Sure, there have been challenges at times, but it has mainly been a very nice trip. We are also grateful that we are now back at the Elmia fair, and that this is such a wonderful meeting place!

The week ahead

We hang out at the Elmia fair for a few more days, and then we drive to Stockholm and home. Soon after that, we will be travelling to Greece. Maybe we will a little too for another trip, but we have a nice co-operation with Greece (last year we were on nice Karpathos) and now is the right time for Greece again.
