Ängskärs havscamping is beautifully situated on the Hållnäs peninsula in north-eastern Uppland. We camped here for a day and enjoyed the beautiful nature and lovely cliffs by the sea. If you're travelling by motorhome and prefer to stay on a pitch, there are several to choose from nearby.

Lingnåre cultural reserve is located on the Hållnäs peninsula in Tierp municipality. There are currently a total of 43 cultural reserves in Sweden, and this is one of them. We made a visit here when we visited Sikhjälma harbour with the motorhome.

This motorhome weekend started with us going to a site in Sikhjälma harbour, on the Hållnäs headland in Tierp municipality. Vikingabyn Storholmen is an open-air museum beautifully situated by Lake Erken in Roslagen. For a few weeks in the summer, the village is populated by a Viking association, and at certain times families with children and others are welcomed to learn more about the Viking Age and our exciting history.
