We have continued with the motorhome to Oranienburg and Oranienburg Castle, just north of Berlin. Here we found above all a beautiful castle and a nice castle park, but also a really good parking space for motorhomes. At the risk of repeating ourselves - Germany is good at caravan parks!

We hung out with cowboys and Indians in Templin, Germany. Really fun actually! We also have to say that Germany is extremely good at motorhome parking, and Templin is no exception. There are two large sites here: one that is completely free and one that you pay for and which also has very good service.

Now we have found a nice spot in Västerås guest harbour. Here we stand nicely with the motorhome by the water and are close to the city. No wonder this is a popular place! So far we have managed to take a walk along the water and seen a house that is ... halfway under the surface!

Femöre - barren rocks and military history in Oxelösund

On the way home from Jogersö camping in Oxelösund, we took the opportunity to drive past the island of Femöre, which is connected to the mainland by a small bridge. We had been advised to check out the lighthouse keeper's house, the Femöre fortress and, not least, the view. We were not disappointed, so to speak! In addition, it was a real British summer on Sunday, with sunny and warm autumn weather.
