The site in Valdemarsvik's guest harbour - this was the last stop on our month-long motorhome trip in southern Sweden. This site is beautifully located and has very good service.

Noor's Castle is a wooden Carolingian castle in Knivsta, Uppland. It may be a very small and perhaps unassuming castle, but the ground has been trodden by important people such as Karl XI, Verner von Heidenstam and Steve Jobs. Once upon a time there was also an impressively grand baroque garden.

Sundbyholm Castle has a history as a monastery and royal estate. Today you can come here for hotel accommodation, conferences and weddings, but you can also come here to visit Sundbyholm's guest harbour. There is a nice parking space for motorhomes.

Dals Långed is a small town along the Dalsland Canal. We did not have high expectations, but were surprised by idyllic lakes, charming locks and a village that lives thanks to initiative and a school for handicrafts.

Stegeborg is about 2 kilometres from Söderköping, and here you will find, among other things, a castle ruin from the 13th century. There is also a marina, a harbour restaurant, a garden hotel, a caravan park and an airfield for those who prefer to arrive in their own aircraft.

Öregrund is a real gem in Roslagen with charming alleys, beautiful old wooden houses and a harbour full of boats and restaurants. Here you can enjoy a pleasant holiday atmosphere and watch the sun sink over the sea.

Ängskärs havscamping is beautifully situated on the Hållnäs peninsula in north-eastern Uppland. We camped here for a day and enjoyed the beautiful nature and lovely cliffs by the sea. If you're travelling by motorhome and prefer to stay on a pitch, there are several to choose from nearby.

This motorhome weekend started with us going to a site in Sikhjälma harbour, on the Hållnäs headland in Tierp municipality. We had a special reason to come here, but this is also a beautiful place by the sea. Here you can, among other things, experience the Kapplasse nature reserve and fantastic sunsets.

Our last stops on this summer's long motorhome trip were Husum and Sankt Peter-Ording on the North Sea coast of Germany. Here, the North Sea wind blows briskly, the fishing shops are densely packed and the beaches are so wide that they resemble deserts. The North Sea coast in Germany offers many gems, and we also found a good place to park our motorhome.
